Centro Sociale e Culturale "Edmondo Massaioli"

The history of the “Edmondo Massaioli” cultural, social and recreational center begins a few months after the earthquake of 1980, when the Association of Retired People of Eboli was formed, finding temporary accommodation in one of the two buildings of the "Judge Vincent" school . In 1987, the Memorandum and Articles of Association act was drafted and approved by the notary Mario Gentile. In the second half of the eighties, the Association moves to private premises, due to the renovation of the school buildings. In 1988, the administration establishes the Multipurpose Community Centre for the Elderly, by resolution of G. M. n. 862 of 12 March, under Article. 4 of Law R.46 / 85. After about seven years, it was moved by the Prefectural Commissioner to via Umberto Nobile, 32, where the center now has its headquarters.

The center is open 12 months a year and 7 days a week, from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm and from 3.30 pm to 9.00 pm
