Selecoast Sele Picentini Touristic Districtwas officially recognised on 10/01/2014 by the administrative order of Cultural Heritage and Tourism Ministry. The initiative was arisen by some entrepreneurs in Eboli, Battipaglia and Pontecagnano Faiano in order to sponsor and value local tourism thorugh a project involving TOURISM, AGRICULTURE, ENVIRONMENT.
Primary objectives of the touristic district are:
- Increase and improve the touristic offer, both nationally and internationally.
- Increase the development of areas and industries within the district.
- Improve the efficiency in the organization and production of services
- Assure legal assistance to companies within the district, with particular focus to chance of investment, credit access, and ways to ease relationships with public institutions.
