Centro YALLA Eboli

Yalla is the Campania service of cultural mediation and it is addressed to both foreigners and public services of the area. It is financed by Campania – POR Campania FSE 2007/2013, present in 13 municipalities and realized by ATI with Cidis ONP (in leading position) and Gesco.

Its main social aim is to facilitate the integration of the immigrant population in Campania:

-        Promote equal opportunities in terms of safeguard and guarantee of the citizenship rights.

-        Support and enhance local service system improving its promptness facing all the problems related to the area.

-        Promote the intercultural exchange reaching each other awareness and respect.

All the services, structured in different levels, are dedicated to both foreigners, regional services, and Campania citizens:

-        An active cultural mediation agency is made of members who facilitate the communication, not only language based but cultural as well.

-        Consultancy in terms of territorial services by experts in immigration rights.

-        Update courses for public services’ employees in order to offer practical help to the need of foreigners, handle the intercultural communication, get to know law and legislation about immigration.

-        Consultancy centres for immigrants: application and renew of residence permits, assistance in finding jobs and accommodations, Italian language courses, orientation and support in regards to public services (national health service, CTP, education, registry), linguistic mediation – both cultural, refugees assistance and asylum requests.

-        Training for cultural mediators, active citizenship courses, territorial awareness, meetings and discussions, social communication, jail services and support to needy parts, research and analysis.
