Moby Dick is a juvenile cultural association which has been active since 2005. Its social purpose is improving socio-cultural development of each local area by the coordinating and putting in practice projects and initiatives four young generations.
Each activity should be looking at enhancing their skills and participation to social, economical and cultural life.
Moby dick operates both on a national and international scale. From a local perspective, partnerships with authorities and institution of the area were signed up.
From a European point of view instead, hundreds of young adults from Salerno had the chance to experience difference cultures. Specifically, activities were organised with the support of 24 foreign countries. For them, this was a growing up moment where their skills and competences were reinforced.
The society is part of the national network Modavi - Italian voluntary associations group.
